FAQ's

How long will it take to receive my order?
Your customized bag will take approximately 3 weeks to be completed and shipped. Orders cannot be processed until all information is received with the photograph/digital image. If you need it quicker, we will try to work within your timeframe. Please send specific delivery date needs in e-mail to melissa@poshprintsonline.com.

What are the delivery options?
We ship within approximately 3 weeks of the order. You can choose between standard (3 to 4 weeks) or Priority. Priority orders are rushed through the production process and typically arrive about a week earlier than standard production orders.

What are the shipping and handling costs?
$10.00 FedEx ground (Three To Four Weeks in the US)

Can a finished tote bag be delivered to someone else?
Yes. We ask you for the shipping and billing address. We will not contact the recipient in any way.

How will I know when my order ships?
We will e-mail you a shipping confirmation when your order ships,. If tracking service is available, we include the Tracking number in your Shipping Confirmation e-mail.

How do I keep my tote clean?
For regular cleaning maintenance, go over your handbag with a lint brush. You should apply Scotchguard or a similar product that will repel moisture and water when you first receive the bag. For further cleaning, please use a damp soft towel with warm soapy water to remove dirt from the bag.

How is the image made and how durable is it?
The photograph is actually "baked" into the fabric with what is known as a sublimation process. This sublimation process creates a photo that is literally embedded into the fabric. The result is an extremely clear image that will not fade crack or peel.

Do the photo pictures snap to the front of the bag (are they removable)?
No, the photos do not snap on the bag, therefore are not removable. The photograph is actually "baked" into the fabric with what is known as a sublimation process. This sublimation process creates a photo that is literally embedded into the fabric. The result is an extremely clear image that will not fade crack or peel.

What kinds of fabrics are used?
The photograph is printed on a white high quality micro fiber. The rest of the bag is also constructed with an extremely durable micro fiber. Some bags also include options for leather upgrades.

Can I add the same image to the backside of my photo accessory?
Yes. Some products have this option. There is an additional $10-15 fee to your order to design your product with the same photo on each side depending upon the bag you choose. Simply choose the two sided option when ordering the bag and upload the same photo two times.

Can I put a different image of each side of the bag?
There is an option on most bags to include an image on both sides of the bag. This option cost an additional $10 to $15 depending on the bag style. If you select this option, you will be asked to upload two images. You can choose to use the same image twice or different images for each side.

Can I put multiple photos on a bag?
Just submit the photos to Posh Prints and we will combine for you. This option costs an additional $10 to $15 depending on the amount of photo work required.

Can I see my picture after you crop it?
If you request it at the time of ordering, we will forward a cropped image to you for approval. Simply request this in the shipping information comments field.

Can I submit any photograph?
You may submit any photograph as long at it is your own personal property or you have obtained the right or permission to reproduce the photograph. By ordering a tote you confirm that you own the rights to the photograph(s) or have obtained relevant permission(s) to use the photograph(s) prior to submitting an order. Posh Prints will not be held responsible for any discrepancies, which involve the license holder and the customer who submits the photograph.

Can my image be changed from Color to Sepia or Black and White?
There is an option on all bags to change your image from Color to Black and White or Sepia. This option cost an additional $10.

What is sepia?
Sepia gives a warmish brown tone to photos. Some people refer to it as an antique finish.

Can Posh Prints enhance the image that I provide?
Posh Prints can fix some simple problems with images such as red eye, dust from scans, etc. Major retouching is done on an as requested basis. If you would like us to make changes to your image, simply include your request or instructions in the shipping information comments field. Orders that do not include specific requests will not be enhanced.

How is image cropped and sized?
SnapTotes designers will crop and size your photograph to fit the construction of the bag. As a result, the image that will be on your bag may be slightly different in size and shape from the original image that was submitted.

What type of photo file do I need to send?
All images should be at least 4x6 in size. If you have a digital image, please upload the photo as a .jpg file. Make sure the photo was saved with at least 1024 x 768 pixels or greater. The file size should be a minimum of 200KB and a maximum of 2MB. A minimum 2 Megapixel digital camera is required.

If you would prefer to send your photo by mail, your photo(s) will be returned to you; however, we cannot be responsible for photos that are damaged or lost. The photo that you send in via the mail must be an actual photo, not a photocopy or print. Only scans from traditional photo paper are acceptable. Do not send scans reproduced from laser, inkjet or bubble jet printer/copiers. Scan all prints at 300 DPI and save as a .JPG file type.

We strongly recommend that your digital pictures be at least 1024 pixels wide and at least 768 pixels tall. Here is how to make sure you have an image that is at least our recommended size:

If you already have an image:
Open My Computer.
Find the image you want to use.
Set your mouse pointer on the image, click the RIGHT mouse button once, and release. A small menu will appear.
Set your mouse pointer at the bottom of the menu on Properties (It will highlight), click the LEFT mouse button once, and release. A new screen will pop up.
You should see several tabs across the top of the page. One of them will say Summary. Click it.
You should see a list of image properties. Width is the image width in pixels, and Height is the image height in pixels.
If you are planning on taking a picture with a digital camera:
Make sure you have a camera that takes 2 megapixel images or larger.
Make sure your camera is set to the highest setting before taking a picture.
Save Images in a JPG format.
Refer to your cameras manual for more details.
If you are scanning a 4x6 (regular photo size) image:
Set the scanner resolution to 200 dpi or higher and save the image in a JPG format.
If your scanner does not have a dpi setting, use the highest available setting.
