What type of paper do you print on?
Our matte finish photo cards are actual photographs, printed on professional quality Fuji Crystal Archive paper, with a Luster (matte) finish, which resists fingerprints. Your cards WILL NOT FADE, and will last a lifetime!
Our flat and folded cards are printed on a quality heavy cardstock.

Can you convert my color photo to Black & White?
Absolutely.... In fact, if you wish to convert your color photo to Black and White or Sepia tone, we prefer to do it for you. We use a special process, and will work with your image(s) to create a quality, high-contast image. There is NO charge for this service.
Some of our cards have the Black and White selection available on the actual product page. If this option is not available on the card you choose, simply request this service in the special instructions during checkout.
If you would like to see your images in both color and black and white or sepia, this would be considered a revision. Please choose the option you think you would prefer first, then request the color change during the proof process - tell us in your second response that the proof is okay as is, or that you prefer to change it back to the original color. Regardless, is is important that you make any text revisions after seeing the first proof.
Please note, that we CANNOT show more than one proof at a time. So, if you would like to compare them side by side, simply RIGHT CLICK on the proof image to save the original on your hard drive for your later review. These images are low resolution, and are not suitable for printing.
Can I see more than one proof set-up ?
Yes, you may see as many proofs of different designs as you wish. However, please keep in mind that all our cards are done by Photoshop experts - not automatically by computer. Therefore, we do charge $15 for each additional proof set-up in order to cover our time. This amount will billed to your credit card in a separate transaction. If for some reason you should need to cancel your order after we have designed your card, the additional proof set-up fee is not refundable.
If you wish to see a proof of more than one card, simply request the additional set-up in the special instructions during checkout, noting that you accept the additional charge. Remember to include the Style Name of the additional design(s) you wish to see.
As noted above, we CANNOT show more than one proof at a time however. So, we will submit your first proof, and the second proof image after we receive confirmation that you have viewed the original. Simply respond to the first proof requesting revisions, telling us in the comment box that you are ready to view the second design. Be sure to RIGHT CLICK on your first proof to save it to your computer for your comparison.
How do I place a re-order ?
Our minimum re-order is 30 cards. We keep your finished card on file for 45 days from the date your order was placed.
We will reprint and ship your cards within two business days.
How do I get my photo(s) to you?

What do you mean by Free Touch Ups?
With every order, if needed we first adjust your original image to the best of our ability. We work to improve the color, contrast and clarity of each image. Additionally, with all orders of $125 or more, at your request and where possible, we will also correct minor scratches, and minor skin blemishes such as moles, acne or small scars. You may request these edits in the special instructions during checkout.
Please note, that extensive editing, (i.e., removing / moving people, removing large objects, eleminating or changing backgrounds) is beyond the scope of our services.
How quickly will my cards be printed and shipped?
Once we get your final proof approval, your photo cards will be printed and shipped within 5 business days. USPS Priority Mail takes an additional 2-3 days nationwide.
During the months of November and December, we may extend our due times by one or two days. In this event, a notice will be displayed on our website if our work load justifies the extension.
Do you have a Christmas deadline?
Well... sort of -
For 2008, our deadline for ordering photographic Christmas cards for timely production and delivery will be December 2nd. As mentioned above, during the holiday season, we may need to extend our turnaround times by a couple of days.
You are welcome to place orders for photographic Christmas cards after this date. However, due to proof times and shipment times, we cannot guarantee you will receive your order in time for Christmas mailing. If you order after our deadline, we cannot, for any reason provide credits for orders that do not arrive in time for Christmas mailing. Again, you are welcome to order, but doing so is at your own risk. We appreciate your cooperation!
Can I order less than the stated minimum order?
Sorry.... we must adhere to our minimum orders..
How much text can I fit on my card ?
This varies; each greeting card or announcement can accommodate different amounts of text according to the design. When you are considering a card, look at the sample text used in that particular card. As you will see in several designs, we can place text on top of your image, but this may also be limited depending on your picture. For instance, if there is a lot of sky or water, inserting text would not be a problem in these areas.
While it's best not to get carried away with the text, the worse that could happen, is that there is simply to much to fit. In this case, we will design the card using our judgment. You may then request changes to the text and/or it's placement when viewing your proof.
I would like to crop or edit my picture; what do I do?
If you would like to use a picture, but would like to crop or zoom into a particular part of the image, or change any other aspect of it, just let us know in the special instructions field at checkout. You may also send an email to us from the email link contained in your order confirmation.
Keep in mind, that digital images MUST be at the highest resolution possible for cropping to render acceptable results. If we feel your cropping or editing instructions will negatively impact the quality of your cards, we will contact you to offer our educated opinion.
How many envelopes will I receive with my order?
We always include extra envelopes with your order. Typically, you will receive one extra envelope for every 25 cards ordered.
Do your greeting cards require extra postage?
Some of them do. The 5x7 cards will not. If you choose the 5x5 square cards, the USPS postage is approximately $.53.
Can I make changes to the greeting / announcement designs?
Most of our greeting / announcement designs come as you see them, with your pictures and text added. However, you may add any text you wish, such as Bible verses, poems, vacation locations, and of course names. Our text placement is only limited by space; however, we can also place text in the actual photo itself, in addition to the traditional space at the end of the card.

Can I use professional images for my cards?
We can accept professional images for creating your order. However, we MUST receive written permission from the photographer on their own letterhead or stationery. Please inform the photographer, that any sort of electronic release form will not be sufficient.
Keep in mind that the unauthorized use of professional images is illegal.
Why can't I preview a proof online before I submit the order?
We are aware that other sites have computer-generated proofs for you to view before you order. At Posh Prints, our designs and layouts are too intricate and complex to have an automated proof produced. Instead, each and every card is produced by the designer. This way, if the design needs to be slightly modified to best show your little one, it can be done. Special care is given to fix minor photo flaws, and best enhance the color, brightness and contrast. Only a designer's eye can give the attention your card deserves. Also, the proofing process gives you a chance to communicate directly with the designer so you may request changes that an automated computer program would not be able to do.

Are your cards flat or folded?
Our announcements, invitations and holiday cards are flat, and printed on both the front and back. Our thank you cards are folded, and are printed on the front and back, with a blank interior.

I like a design that features the first and middle name, but I want the last name too. Can I add it?
Of course! All the text that you see on the designs can be modified so it is exactly what you want. When you customize your card before checkout, enter your baby's name as you would like it to read on the card. We can always modify during the proofing stage as well.
I like a design that features three photos, but I only want to use one. Can I?
Yes you may. Simply upload just one photo and make a note of it when you customize. We'll modify the design for you.
What is printed on the back of the card?
On the back of all cards is a continuation of the front design, as well as the Posh Prints logo in small print.
Can I request printing on the back such as directions, or a note of some kind?
Absolutely! Just visit custom cards to learn about your options.
What kind of editing will you do to my photo?
Posh Prints will do its best to touch up any imperfections in your photograph. We work on the contrast, brightness and levels so your photo prints its best. We also remove all baby acne and red eye. We cannot promise that we are able to fix major flaws, like date stamps or unwanted shadows. We do crop the photos in the placeholders so your little one looks his or her best, making sure the focus is on your precious child!
Will the colors in the printed card be exactly what I see on my monitor?
As you may know, monitor settings can vary tremendously in terms of brightness, contrast and even colors. For this reason, it is impossible to say that your cards will match exactly what you see on screen. However, please take heart in knowing that the colors in each design were put together by our designer who has an expert knowledge of color theory. We are confident that you will enjoy the colors in your printed card.
Do you have a printed catalog?
Our online site is our catalog. Since we add designs so often, it would not be efficient for us to print a catalog as it would be outdated soon after it was produced. We encourage you to order a sample to see the quality of our cards.
What if there is a mistake on my printed cards?
We do our best to ensure that no mistakes are made. Posh Prints uses the information obtained from you via the form you filled out during the ordering process. We use that exact information and send you a proof for you to view. We ask that you double and triple check the proof. After you sign-off, that is what goes to print. If for some reason the printed cards have a mistake that occurred after the proof process, Posh Prints will reprint your cards at no cost to you. If the cards have a mistake that was due to incorrect information being entered by you, we must ask that you pay for the reprint of the cards. Please double and triple check your proof. We appreciate it!
What is your cancellation policy?
Our policy depends on the stage your order is in when you cancel. If we have not started your order, there is no charge. If we have started your order, there is a $70 cancellation charge. If you have approved the proof and we have started printing the order, you will be charged in full.
Can I receive a refund if I am not happy with my product?
We do everything we can to ensure happy customers but if for some reason, you are unsatisfied, you may return your entire order for a refund. The refund is for the cost of your order, not including postage. You are responsible for postage to return the product. If your order is not returned in full, a refund will not be granted.
What if I don't receive an email with my proof within 2 business days?
Since we are diligent about sending proofs within this time period (most of the time even earlier), it may be a case of an incomplete or incorrect e-mail supplied to us during the order process. Please email us at info@poshprintsonline.com and we'll get back to you asap.
